Greetings fellow earthlings! Whomever you are; wherever you are, welcome!
I have finally decided that I am going to record my weekly, monthly or timely adventures, no matter big or small. Truth to be told, I am rather rusty with this blogging thing, but I’ll do my best.
So, here’s a little background about me: I went to school, grew up, started working, paying the bills, blah blah blah. Boring huh? Not. I have been travelling since somewhere between 2010 to 2011. My travels may not be extensive, but it is still considered a good start!
There is this saying:
Jobs fill your pockets. Adventures fill your soul.
I love it! I hereby encourage each and everyone out there reading this right here and now, yes you. Do things that makes your soul happy. It could be travelling, singing, sports, participating in charities, reading, even simple things like spending time with your family and loved ones. As long as it is your passion (and legal), just go for it! You only have this one life to live it right, to fulfill your dreams and goals and to live it your way. Well for me, it is obviously travelling! Of course I do have many other hobbies and interests, but travelling makes my soul really really happy!
Enough with the boring words and let the pictures testify for themselves. (This is my first post and I honestly am clueless about what is considered a good first post. Perhaps a throwback?)
Rehashing back upon highlights of 2016:

You have yet truly experience rich and “ATAS” until you have visited Shanghai. If we Singaporeans think we are rich, please re-think again. There is a reason why sometimes we call ourselves Singapoorean! (haha) City folks in Shanghai; they are the real deal. Before visiting China, I used to narrowly think that maybe this rising superpower is still.. rising. After Shanghai, my entire perspective have changed. This goes to show how much the entire country have improved economically and drastically over the past decades. Alright, now I am starting to feel poor. Boohoo.
The above photos involve mainly different parts of China due to my (previous) job nature. I have since switched career paths recently and became a company women. But I have to stress that travelling for work and travelling for leisure are two entirely different entities! It is akin to comparing going to Dubai for meetings versus going to Maldives for a swim.
So here are some (sadly only two) of my leisure travels in 2016:

Boracay! One of the beautiful jewels of the Philippines. -Puka Shell Beach, Boracay

I am definitely coming back! -White beach, Boracay

Setia Sky Residences; KLCC. This was unfortunately leaning more towards 2017 than 2016. Going to Malaysia, eating good food, have a massage and spending money like kings and queens. That is living the life of a dream! -Kuala Lumpur
Disclaimer: All photos on my blog are solely taken by me, otherwise credited. Kudos to my 3 year old faithful and amazing iphone 5S. My future photos and video journey will include my new little babe SJ4000 alongside my 5S. Please do credit me if you would like to use any of my photos.
Right now, my next stop will be Cambodia. I will be covering both major cities: Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. In fact, I am flying off in T-minus 10 hours! I have already packed my bags and prepared my toys (camera). It has been 2 years since I last traveled solo and I am elated that it is finally here! Please stay tune for more updates!
